Oh, Hi. Hello! Welcome to In Search of the 25th Hour—your go-to spot for finding that elusive extra hour in your day. If you’re like me, juggling a busy family, work, and social life while still wishing for just a bit more time, you’re in the right place. Here, we explore the art of time management, productivity hacks, and life’s little efficiencies, all while having a laugh along the way.
Who Am I?
I’m a proud mommy to 10-year-old, Ike, 8-year-old Eleanor, and a loving stepmom to all grown up, Gabby. I’m also one of four co-parents to a precocious little cava-poo named Wu-Tang. My wonderful husband, Isaac, keeps me grounded (or at least tries to) amidst the daily chaos. But that’s not all—I’m also a sister, daughter, friend, coworker, housecleaner, engineer, chef, handyman, and anything else life throws my way.
Originally from the vibrant city of New Orleans, LA, I’ve called Atlanta, Georgia, home for over eight years. I earned my degree in Aerospace Engineering from Auburn University in 2006, so I’m quite literally a rocket scientist. But I work in the field of commercial aviation right now, so perhaps rocket enthusiast is more appropriate these days.

About the Author
Isaac and I tied the knot in February 2013, and exactly nine months later—To. The. Day.—our little Ike made his grand entrance into the world. My husband and I both work for the same airline, though in different roles. Fun fact: we met during a cross-divisional training class, where he may have cheated to win the final competition, but that’s a story for another day!
We call the suburbs of Atlanta home, having recently settled into a quiet neighborhood with plenty of greenspace for Ike to play and top-notch schools for him to grow and learn.
This blog began as a digital scrapbook for Ike—a place to capture all the precious moments of his childhood. When he hits those surly teenage years, I’ll have plenty of cute baby photos to remind him of his former adorableness.
But In Search of the 25th Hour is more than just a memory keeper. It’s my outlet for all things life-related, from my attempts at healthy living and home organization to the daily adventures of raising a family. Here, I share our journey, sprinkled with humor, triumphs, and the occasional parenting mishap.
Thanks for joining me on this adventure—let’s make the most of our 24 hours together, and maybe, just maybe, we’ll find that elusive 25th hour!
Background Snapshot
I’m a New Orleans native, but Atlanta has been home for over eight years. I graduated from Auburn University in 2006 with a degree in Aerospace Engineering and have been flying high with the same airline ever since. And yes, I still love every second of it!
